Product Description:
Baricinix 2 mg , containing Baricitinib, is prescribed for adults with moderate to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who have not responded adequately to, or cannot tolerate, one or more disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs). It can be used alone or in combination with Methotrexate. It is the first once-daily oral selective JAK1 and JAK2 inhibitor for this condition.

Composition:Each film-coated tablet of Baricitinib 4 mg contains 4 mg of Baricitinib INN.

Therapeutic Indications:
Baricitinib is indicated for treating moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis in adults who have not responded well to, or cannot tolerate, one or more disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs. It can be used alone or with Methotrexate.

Dosage and Administration:
The recommended dose is 4 mg once daily, with a lower dose of 2 mg once daily for certain patient populations. Treatment should not start if specific blood count levels are too low. Dosage adjustments are needed for patients with renal impairment or when co-administered with certain inhibitors. Baricitinib can be taken with or without food.

Important Safety Information:
Baricinix affects the immune system, potentially lowering its ability to fight infections. Serious infections, including tuberculosis, have occurred. Patients should be tested for TB before starting Baricinix. Any signs of infection should be reported promptly to healthcare providers. Patients may have a higher risk of developing shingles. Immediate medical attention is needed for symptoms of infection.
